Welcome back to our blog! This week’s blog we are talking about the follow up and additional sales. This blog will give information about what follow up is in sales and how it can be done. We will also explain what additional sales is. Follow up and additional sales are important to the sales transaction, these things are the way how to get the sale and the possible additional sale that adds value to the transaction. When the follow up and additional sales are mastered you will thrive as a salesperson and build up your own customer network.
What is follow up in sales and how it’s done?
Follow up is done after the first contact with the customer. Customers usually don’t buy your product or service from the first contact. Most common ways to do the follow up is trough the phone or email.
Follow ups in sales are not done enough. After the first contact it is important to follow up the customer after a right amount of time. Follow up is a very important skill to master it is the way to get the sale most of the time. Some sellers quit too soon after getting a negative or a maybe answer from a customer. It is also good to know when to quit. When follow upping on a customer it is good to use various of ways to contact the customer. It is important to create value on every follow up you do and it also important to keep it short and brief.
What is additional sales?
Additional sales is when you sell something in addition to the main product or sell something addition to the service you have sold. Additional sale is great way to add value to your main product or service. Additional sales for example are when you sell a machine and sell additional parts to it or sell some kind of insurance or maintenance in addition.
